South Birmingham Holidaymakers Cruise to a Fabulous Holiday

4 September

With National Cruise Week here (7-14 September), holidaymakers in South Birmingham will be able to ‘sea’ the vast choice of cruises on offer at a special event being held in Solihull on Sunday 21 September.

Midlands Co-op Travel, which incorporates Ilkeston Co-op Travel, is organising the cruise event between 10.30am and 4.00pm at The Holiday Inn, Solihull for visitors to explore the wonderful world of cruising.

Gary Hickman, Sales Development Manager at Midlands Co-op Travel, said: “The increasingly diverse range of cruises available means that this type of holiday offers something for everyone and all budgets. Cruises start from as little as £149.00 per person and can go beyond several thousand pounds, so it’s not surprising that more and more people need help to find their ideal cruise holiday. Our cruise specialists are experts in putting together personal itineraries for customers and their experience means that they can easily find the right cruise based on each customer’s requirements. They have support from a whole range of suppliers who can cater for everything from a two-night taster cruise through to a round-the-world cruise.”

Midlands Co-op Travel’s specialist cruise consultants, who have years of cruising experience between them, will be at the event. These including Jason Veal, an accredited member of the Association of Cruise Experts, who is permanently based at the Solihull High Street store and Karen Harold, a Personal Travel Solutions Manager, plus other trained specialists. Representatives from most of the leading cruise companies will also be on hand to answer travel queries and offer exclusive ‘book-on-the-day’ deals and there will even be a chance for those attending to win a city break.

Complimentary tickets to the event can be obtained from www.midlandsco-optravel.co.uk or by visiting branches of Midlands/Ilkeston Co-op Travel.

Midlands Co-op Travel and Ilkeston Co-op Travel have shops throughout the South Birmingham area some of which are open seven days a week. For details of your nearest store go to www.midlandsco-optravel.co.uk. Cruise appointments can be arranged in store for a tailor-made one-to-one service and expert advice.

Midlands Co-op Travel, which incorporates Ilkeston Co-op Travel, is a fully independent travel business as it is not owned by a tour operator or airline. Because of this, it is able to offer the best deals as well as providing other travel related services such as insurance, commission-free currency and car hire.
